YERR

We are young people from across the country who have come together to learn, work, grow and build power together. In doing so, we’ve formed a group called Youth Everywhere Rising and Resisting (YERR) from more than fifteen organizations in the Center for Popular Democracy/Action (CPD/A) network.

Youth organizing is a necessary and powerful part of the fight for social justice and transformation. Winning our vision requires fundamental and structural change including ending racial domination and white supremacy, class domination by way of capitalist exploitation of workers and our shared natural resources, and gender domination. We’ve begun this fight through the Youth Mandate for Education and Liberation and #PoliceFreeSchools campaigns.

Through CPD/A base-building and grassroots organizations, we nurture youth leaders with tools and training that can support local campaigns on ending the School-to-Prison Pipeline and Immigrant Justice. We also provide customized support to each of our partner organizations to grow the numbers of young people who want to be engaged, mobilized, and supported in their development as leaders.
